Tom Shortt

Tom Shortt has a diverse work experience in the security systems industry spanning over several years. Tom began their career in 1992 at Security Holdings, Inc as a Customer Service Technician, providing service for commercial and residential alarm systems. In 1996, they moved to Protection One as a Service Coordinator, where they scheduled customer service and performed data entry tasks for changes in phone numbers, codes, and emergency call lists.

In 2000, Tom joined Security Associates International, Inc as a Technical Specialist, responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining phone, computer, and alarm equipment in the Command Center. Tom also ensured UL compliance and performed equipment installation and troubleshooting.

In 2002, Tom took on multiple roles simultaneously at two companies. At Guardian Security Systems, Inc, they worked as a Network Admin, managing the company's network. At Northwest Alarm Monitoring, they served as an IT Manager, responsible for the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Command Center's phone, computer, and alarm equipment. Tom also ensured UL compliance and handled the wiring, installation, and troubleshooting of equipment. Additionally, they served as a Facilities Manager, overseeing the Command Center's facilities.

Throughout their career, Tom has gained extensive experience in technical support, customer service, and equipment maintenance within the security systems industry.

Tom Shortt attended La Marque High School from 1979 to 1981. During 1980, they also briefly attended Texas City Community College in Texas. No degree or field of study information is provided.
