David Austin

David Austin is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in applications engineering and sales. Currently serving as a Senior Applications Engineer at Gudel US since September 2016, David specializes in part handling automation systems, focusing on pre-engineering, estimating, and quoting. Previously, David worked at Wingard & Co from September 2009 to June 2016 as a Sales Engineer, where responsibilities included marketing, trade shows, prospecting, and project management for custom motor and transformer laminations primarily for the aerospace industry. David also held a Sales Engineer position at Fabricating Machinery Sales from 2004 to 2007, involving similar roles in marketing and project management. Earlier, David gained extensive experience at Atlas Technologies, Inc. from 1984 to 2005, taking on various roles, including Applications Engineer, Regional Sales Manager, Mechanical Designer, and CAD Draftsman.
