Prior to this role, Dan held positions such as Associate Editor of Non-Fiction at Guernica Magazine, Creative Executive at Scott Rudin Productions, and Freedom to Write Intern at PEN American Center. With a background in creative writing and English literature, Dan has also contributed to publications like The Irish Times and served as Editor for Icarus Magazine's 60th Anniversary Edition.

Guernica is an award-winning online magazine of ideas, art, poetry, and fiction published twice monthly. Guernica Daily, the magazine’s blog, is updated every weekday.
