Kristina Kay Robinson is an accomplished editor, poet, and freelance writer with a diverse portfolio in the literary and visual arts fields. Currently serving as Editor At Large for Burnaway in New Orleans since January 2020, Robinson also contributes as a poet to the Academy of American Poets and engages in freelance writing for publications such as Art in America, Guernica Magazine, ELLE Magazine, The Nation, and Internazionale. Robinson has a long-standing role as a writer for Life in High Times, focusing on hip hop, literature, art, and social politics from a unique perspective. Previously, Robinson held the position of Editor In Chief at Antenna Gallery: Room 220 and was awarded the Rabkin Prize in Visual Arts Journalism by the Dorothea and Leo Rabkin Foundation in 2019. Robinson holds an MFA from the University of New Orleans and a B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing from Xavier University of Louisiana.
