From 2010 to 2016, they were the Business Owner and Senior Linux/Windows System Administrator at it74.net, where they provided IT outsourcing services for 50+ organizations. From 2016 to 2020, they were the Chief Information Officer at mavt.ru, where they managed two teams of 4 system administrators and 4 Oracle developers, and was responsible for monthly budget planning and generating IT solutions for the business.

Dima Altukhov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer technology professional education from Chelyabinsk State Pedagogical University between 2006 and 2011. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from The Linux Foundation: LFS258: Kubernetes Fundamentals in April 2021, and LFS211: Linux Networking and Administration in December 2020.
