Galen Karten

Galen Karten has an extensive work experience spanning from 1994 to 2019. Galen began their career as a Broadcast Scriptwriting Intern at IBA (Israel Broadcasting Authority) in 1994. From 1995 to 1997, they worked as a Producer at The Learning Company. At Versaware Technologies, they held the roles of Director of Internet Production and Internet Project Manager from 1997 to 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as Group Manager, Professional Services at Softwatch. At IDT Corporation, they held the role of Product Manager from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2017, they worked at Wellness Layers, where they held the roles of VP, Product, Director of Account Management | Product Lead, and Senior Account Manager. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, they worked at Wix.com, where they held the role of Product Manager, and at Guesty, where they held the roles of Director of Product, Head of Product, and Senior Product Manager.

Galen Karten completed a Bachelor's Degree in English and American Literature from Brandeis University between 1989 and 1993. Galen then attended Bar-Ilan University's Graduate School of Journalism and Communication from 1994 to 1995. In 1992, they also attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem for an unspecified period of time.
