Taras Kharuk

Taras Kharuk has been working in the software engineering field since 2009. Taras started as a Freelance Web Developer for Self-Employed in 2009, then worked as a Freelance Web Designer for Quotevine in 2011. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for EPAM Systems, followed by a Senior Software Engineer role at Sigma Software Group from 2017 to 2018. Taras then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Kountable, Inc. from 2018 to 2020, before transitioning to an Engineering Lead role at Intellias from 2020 to 2021. Taras is currently a Lead Software Engineer at Guesty.

Taras Kharuk has a Master's degree in International Economics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, which they obtained in 2011. Taras also has a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from the same university, which they obtained in 2010. Prior to that, they attended Ukrainian Gymnasium 1 in Ivano-Frankivsk. Additionally, Taras Kharuk has obtained certifications from freeCodeCamp, Coursera, Stanford University, and Google. These include Back End Development and APIs (2022), An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python (2013), Introduction to Databases (2013), and Google Mobile Sites certification (2017).
