Shanen Aranmor, MS, CWI/CWE has a diverse work experience in various fields. Shanen currently works as a Lead CWI/Welding Judge at Project MFG, where they aim to improve the lives of young people and America's future. Shanen is also the Founder/Chief Wellness Welder at Weld Like A Girl, an empowerment project for girls and women that uses welding and creativity to boost self-esteem and overall wellness. Additionally, Shanen serves as the Chief Wellness Welder at Guided Discoveries AstroCamp, where they inspire young people to explore welding and build projects out of solid steel.

In the past, Shanen worked at Arizona Western College as an Associate Professor, teaching classes related to manufacturing, metallurgy, and welding. Shanen also served as the Director of Physical & Wellness Education at the college. At Yuma Private Industry Council, Shanen held the role of NCCER Designated ATS Representative, promoting trades programs in the community and highlighting the importance of skilled trades.

Furthermore, Shanen has been affiliated with various organizations, including JUL-TV Television Network as a Host for The Money Machine, National Wellness Institute as a National Presenter, and Miller Electric Mfg. Co. as a Western Regional Trainer and EmPower Coordinator. Shanen has also worked as a Welder Training Specialist at Miller Electric, where they contributed to innovative learning experiences.

Outside of their welding and education career, Shanen has worked as the President, Lead Climber & Village Smithy at Rock Steady Leadership Adventures, providing experiential leadership training in outdoor settings. Shanen has also worked as a Faculty member at the University of Phoenix, teaching classes in the Behavioral Health and Human Services department.

Shanen Aranmor has an extensive educational background. Shanen first pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Lafayette College from 1990 to 1994, where they graduated cum laude. Continuing their education, they then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1996 to 1998 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology, focusing on Exercise Physiology.

Shanen further expanded their knowledge in the field of counseling and therapy by pursuing another Master of Science degree in Community Counseling, Marriage & Family at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Shanen attended this institution from 1999 to 2003.

In 2008, Shanen engaged in a different domain and pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in both Welding Technology and Industrial Technology from Arizona Western College. Shanen completed this program in 2011.

In addition to their education, Shanen Aranmor has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they earned the Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from the American Welding Society. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Welding Educator (CWE) certification from the same institution. In 2019, Shanen achieved the Master Trainer Certification from the NCCER. Most recently, they obtained the Subject Matter Expert- Welding certification from NCCER in November 2021.
