Shawn Meehan has over 25 years of experience in various roles within the legal and financial services industries. Shawn is currently the Global Head of Legal Solutions at Guidepoint, where they connect leading law firms, institutional investors, consulting firms, and Fortune 500 companies with experts in over 100 industries. In this role, they provide comprehensive expertise on-demand to improve law firms' advocacy and operational efficiency.

Prior to joining Guidepoint, Shawn worked at Thomson Reuters from 2014 to 2018 as the Director of Strategic Partnerships. During their time there, they developed inbound and outbound opportunities, forged strategic partnerships, transformed operations, and licensed emerging technology and alternative data. Their contributions led to $100 million in revenue and cost savings.

From 2008 to 2013, Shawn served as the Head of Content and Product Manager at Bloomberg LP. Shawn managed litigation, transactional, and regulatory products for Am Law 100 firms, investors, and Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, they sponsored content initiatives across the company, contributing to overall revenue of $300 million.

Shawn started their career at Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase) in 1994 as an attorney, analyzing the bank's litigation exposure in bankruptcy, commercial law, and securities law cases.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Bar of District of Columbia in 1996 and the State Bar of New York in 1994.
