Amanda Poremba

Amanda Poremba has a diverse work experience history. Amanda worked as the Head of School at Guidepost Montessori starting in July 2023. Prior to that, Amanda served as a Human Resources Administrator at Interfirst Mortgage Company from October to November 2021. From 2015 to 2021, they held multiple roles at Childtime Learning Centers, including Assistant Director and Manager and Teacher. Amanda also worked as a Cashier at Little Goat Diner in June to November 2015 and as an Assistant Teacher at Songbird Academy from March to August 2015. Before their career in education and management, Amanda served in the United States Air Force as a Services Journeyman from March 2012 to April 2014, receiving recognition for their volunteer work and performance.

Amanda Poremba completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Resource Development and Child Advocacy Studies at Northeastern Illinois University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Development at City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College and Harold Washington College from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Amanda obtained certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Heart Association in February 2017, and as a CERTIFIED FOOD SAFETY MANAGER from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP) in November 2017.
