Ian McDowell

Ian McDowell is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design and development across various organizations. Currently serving as the Lead Product Designer at GuideTime, responsibilities include driving design initiatives and presenting concepts to key stakeholders. As the owner of McDowell UIX, Ian focuses on bespoke design solutions. Previous roles as Design Engineer at IBM and Associate Design Engineer at 7Summits involved collaborating with clients to enhance business processes through innovative design. Ian also has a rich background in interactive design, having led creative processes at Mitel and contributed to significant brand updates at ShoreTel. Ian McDowell holds an Associate degree in Web Development from Harper College and has pursued coursework in Graphic Design at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
