Rafael Vasquez

Rafael Vasquez, Chief of Staff to the Office of the CEO, is responsible for assisting with the CEO’s plan and coordinating the strategic, cross-functional activities of the executive office, including managing executive committee efforts. He ensures that decisions are communicated and that action items are coordinated between the GuideWell business units. He also defines issues and decisions that need focus and involvement from the CEO’s office.

Rafael is an executive sponsor of GuideWell’s HOLA Community, the marketing chair and an executive board member for the Children’s Bereavement Center in Miami and is a corporate executive advisory member for the Cuban National Council. He is also the Broward Prosperity Partnership Community co-chair and vice chair for Ft. Lauderdale’s American Heart Association.

Rafael holds a bachelor of arts in public administration from San Diego State University and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California. He also completed Leadership Essentials Executive Training at Columbia University.
