Laurence O'Neill

Laurence O'Neill has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Laurence started their career at CGU Insurance in 2003, where they worked as a Research Manager in the Actuarial Department before transitioning to the role of Research Manager in Reinsurance Strategy & Natural Perils. In 2008, they joined SBI General Insurance, Insurance Australia Group as the Head of Actuarial (Commercial). Laurence then moved to IAG in 2010 and held various senior management positions, including Head of RBI Product & Underwriting and Senior Manager for Commercial Packages Reserving and CTP Tech Pricing & Portfolio Performance. In 2016, they joined Guild Group as a contractor, specializing in Portfolio Strategy, Analytics, and Product Solutions. Since 2017, Laurence has been working at Guild Insurance, where they have held several leadership roles, including Head of Portfolio Management, Head of Product & Underwriting, and their current position as Head of Reinsurance, Agency, and Insurance Risk.

Laurence O'Neill's education history is as follows. Laurence attended University High School, where they were a part of the Gifted Children's Program. Following high school, Laurence attended the University of Melbourne, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree. Their fields of study included Actuarial Science, Computer Science, and Statistics.
