Lance Barron

Lance Barron is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Guild Mortgage since January 2021, Lance spearheads technology strategy alignment and champions cross-functional collaboration to enhance product vision. Prior roles include Director of Software Engineering at FASO, where Lance led cloud solution deployments and optimized resource allocation, and Director of Software Development at CREELiT, overseeing the modernization of software architecture to microservices. Earlier experience includes leading cloud development efforts at Godsey Martin as a Software Engineer Manager. Lance holds a CCSI degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from the University of Oklahoma.
