Sagar Thanki

Sagar Thanki, CFA, is an accomplished portfolio manager with extensive experience in asset management. At Guinness Global Investors since February 2017, Sagar has managed the Guinness Sustainable Global Equity Fund and served as an investment analyst for the Guinness Global Equity Income Fund and the Guinness Global Innovators Fund. Simultaneously, at Guinness Atkinson Asset Management, Sagar manages the SmartETFs Advertising and Marketing Technology ETF and has contributed as an investment analyst for the SmartETFs Dividend Builder Fund and Guinness Atkinson Global Innovators Fund. Prior experience includes serving as an account manager and equity advanced specialist at Bloomberg LP, focusing on key buy-side accounts, as well as a discretionary portfolio management analyst at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, and an intern at Royal Bank of Scotland. Sagar holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge and completed secondary education at Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet.
