Scott Keegan

Scott Keegan is an experienced music educator and sales professional with a strong background in piano instruction and sales coordination. Currently serving as a Piano Prep Instructor at Illinois Wesleyan University since September 2024, Scott has also held various positions at The Guitar Center Company from February 2018, including B2B Sales Coordinator, Inside Sales Team Lead, and Account Manager. Prior to this, Scott operated as a sole proprietor from January 2013 to July 2019, teaching piano, composition, and music theory. Additional teaching experience includes a role as a Piano and Composition Teacher at Butler Community Arts School from July 2014 to December 2018. Scott's technical skills were further developed as a Digitization Operator at Memnon Archiving Services from September 2016 to February 2018. Academic credentials include a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition from Illinois Wesleyan University.
