Amir Sawja

Amir Sawja has extensive work experience in the finance and operations departments of various textile mills and hospitality companies. Amir started their career as a Management Accountant at Serena Lodges and Hotels in 1985 and then moved on to finance roles at Mayfair Spinning Mills Ltd, Siddiqsons Denim Mills Ltd, Anound Textile Mills Ltd, and Classic Denim Mills (Pvt) Ltd. In 2001, they became the General Manager of Finance & Marketing at Anound Textile Mills Ltd. Amir then served as the Chief Financial Officer at Karam Ceramics Limited from 2008 to 2013. Since 2013, they have been working at Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited as the Director of Business Finance, where they have achieved notable success in cost savings initiatives and operations management. Amir'sresponsibilities at Gul Ahmed include driving sales, profitability, and business goals, managing mills operations, overseeing financial planning, and ensuring accurate reporting of P&L and cashflows.
