Adnan Hashim

Adnan Hashim serves as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Gulf Air Group Holding since May 2023, having previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Gulf Air from March 2021 to May 2023. Adnan founded and managed Istishara from April 2014 to March 2021, focusing on corporate finance, startup advisory, investment opportunities, and asset valuations. Adnan also served as Chairman of the Bahrain Members' Advisory Committee for ACCA from 2014 to July 2019 and held the Chief Financial Officer role at Aluminium Bahrain in 2018. Prior experience includes Chief Financial Officer at SNB Capital from April 2007 to February 2014 and Asset Management Sector Financial Controller at The Saudi National Bank - SNB from 1993 to 2007. Adnan holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde and completed the CFO: Becoming a Strategic Partner program at The Wharton School. Additionally, Adnan is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA).
