Arfan Aftab began their work experience in 2006 as a Customer Service Assistant at Sainsbury's where they provided friendly and helpful service to customers. In 2007, they joined Gulf Air as a Reservation Sales Agent within the Worldwide Contact Centre (WWCC). From there, they progressed to roles such as Premium Relation Agent, Special Service Agent, and Duty Resources Specialist. In these positions, Arfan efficiently provided outstanding customer service support, handled reservations and ticketing queries, and monitored operational performance to achieve department targets. Their work at Gulf Air involved forecasting call centre activity, delivering staff rosters, and driving revenue to meet sales targets.
Arfan Aftab completed their International Foundation Diploma in Cultural Studies at the University of Greenwich in 2006. Arfan then pursued a degree in EASA PART 66 B2/B1 at the BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre in the Kingdom of Bahrain from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained an MSc in Air Safety Management from City, University of London from 2011 to 2013.
