Burhan Hanif has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Burhan started their career in 1999 as a Graduate Manager at Unipart and worked there until 2001. From 2001 to 2011, they worked at British Airways in the role of Commercial Agreements. Burhan then joined Gulf Air in 2011 and held two roles consecutively: Commercial Route Manager from January 2011 to January 2012, and Acting Senior Manager Revenue Management from May 2011 to November 2011. Burhan Hanif then moved to Etihad Airways, where they served as the Head of Commercial Route Management from January 2012 to May 2014. Burhan also had a brief stint as a Principal Consultant at a consultancy firm from May 2014 to July 2014. Since August 2014, Burhan Hanif has been employed by Gulf Air in the field of Commercial and Revenue Management.
Burhan Hanif completed their BA in Politics from SOAS University of London between 1991 and 1995. Burhan then pursued further education and obtained a Masters degree in Transport Planning & Management from the University of Westminster, which they completed between 1998 and 1999.
