Islam Aboulata

Islam Aboulata, PE, has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as Manager of Propulsion at Gulf Air since October 2011, overseeing engineering activities for propulsion system ATAs including engines, nacelles, and APUs. Prior to this role, Islam held the position of Propulsion Engineer at Gulf Air, focusing on technical management for the A330/Trent 700 and B787/Trent 1000 engines fleet. From August 2005 to October 2011, Islam worked as a Power Plant Engineer at EGYPTAIR, managing the B777/PW4000 engines fleet in a similar capacity. Islam earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams University between 1998 and 2003.
