Mohamed Abdulla Abdulkarim

Mohamed Abdulla Abdulkarim has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Mohamed Abdulla started their career at Gulf Air in 2007 as a Maintenance Controller Assistant, where they gained valuable experience in aircraft maintenance. Mohamed Abdulla then transitioned to the role of IT Field Support Engineer in April 2009, where they provided technical support for IT systems.

In June 2011, Mohamed Abdulla Abdulkarim was promoted to the position of Team Leader - Desktop Services, where they supervised a team responsible for managing desktop services within the organization.

In August 2014, they took on the role of IT Problem Manager, overseeing the resolution of IT-related issues and ensuring effective problem management processes were in place. Simultaneously, they also worked as a Solution Architect Specialist, responsible for designing and implementing optimal solutions aligned with Gulf Air's objectives and industry best practices.

In July 2020, Mohamed Abdulla Abdulkarim was promoted to Manager IT Asset Management, where they are currently responsible for managing all IT assets within Gulf Air.

Prior to their employment at Gulf Air, Mohamed Abdulla Abdulkarim worked as a Summer Intern at Gulf Air in 2004.

Mohamed Abdulla Abdulkarim completed their high school education at Sh. Khalifa Institute of Technology - Secondary School from 2001 to 2004. Following that, they pursued further education at AMA University Bahrain, where they enrolled in the pre-Bachelor of Science program in Computer Science in 2005. As of now, their education at AMA University is still ongoing.

In terms of additional certifications, Mohamed obtained the ITIL IT Service Design certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2016. Prior to that, they obtained the ITIL Service Operation certification from the same institution in March 2014. In January 2014, Mohamed also acquired the ITIL Foundation V3 certification. Furthermore, they received the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 certification from Microsoft in June 2010.
