Nicole Garcia

Nicole Garcia currently serves as AVP - Assistant Controller at Gulf Capital Bank, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Nicole was the Accounting Manager at NRL Mortgage for a brief period in early 2023 and worked as the Assistant Controller at Plains State Bank from June 2019 to October 2022. In the latter role, notable accomplishments included enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the FFIEC 051 Call Report submission by 70% through the creation of new procedures and data modeling. Additionally, Nicole implemented all accounting department procedures for various financial reporting tasks. A graduate of the University of Houston's C.T.
