Amber Leland

Amber Leland is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in behavioral health and crisis intervention. Currently serving as a SLECT-Case Manager at GULF COAST CENTER since September 2022, Amber is responsible for providing rapid response mobile crisis services to individuals facing mental health and substance use crises. Previous roles include Registered Behavioral Technician and Behavioral Support Specialist at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, where Amber implemented patient care plans and supported individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. With a strong foundation in administrative support from positions at Arbor Antique Services, Goodman Manufacturing, and extensive leadership experience as a Resident Advisor at Sam Houston State University, Amber is pursuing a Master's degree in Psychology at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, building upon a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Blinn College.
