Mike Koenig

Mike Koenig is an experienced marine operations professional with a strong background in project management and rig moving services. Currently serving as Marine Operations Manager at Gulf Drilling International since January 2020, Mike has previously held key positions at Aqualis Offshore, Paragon Offshore, Offshore Rig Movers International, Atwood Oceanics, Marine Drilling, and Diamond Offshore. With responsibilities ranging from writing rig move procedures and conducting mooring analyses to training barge engineers and providing mobilization budgets, Mike brings extensive expertise in marine operations and consultancy within the offshore drilling industry. Mike obtained education at Lamar University from 1995 to 1997.
