Ömür Gebeş

Ömür Gebeş was born in 1976 in Istanbul. She completed her secondary and high school education at İSTEK Foundation Semiha Şakir High School in Istanbul. He went to the United States in 1995 for his university education. In 1999, he graduated from Kennesaw State University, Department of Business Administration in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. During his university education, he specialized in finance. He started his career in Atlanta as a financial analyst at UPS Logistics Group.

Following his definitive return to Turkey in 2001, Petrol Ofisi A.Ş. He started to work as Istanbul Field Manager at Petrol Ofisi A.Ş.' During his career in Istanbul, he worked as a “Real Estate Investment Representative”, “Retail Sales Coordinator”, “Aegean Regional Manager” and “Western Black Sea Regional Manager”. He worked in many different positions and projects on fuel distribution, sales, marketing, investment, and strategic planning.

In 2009, the affiliate of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Customs and Tourism Enterprises Trade. AS' He started working as the General Manager. GTİ, which was established to modernize Turkey's Border Gates and Internal Customs with the Build-Operate-Transfer model, started its activities in 2005 with the partnership of 137 Chambers and Exchanges. Upon his appointment, he initiated studies and projects on the establishment of the corporate structure of the company and the preparation of strategic investment plans. Today, one of Turkey's rapidly growing companies, GTİ continues to operate these facilities by completing the modernization of 10 Border Gates and 2 Internal Customs. Continuing in his current position, Ömür Gebeş is also the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of GSMİT (Association of Duty-Free Shops Operators and Suppliers).
