Tim Day

Tim Day has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Tim is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Gunnebo Entrance Control, where they focus on deploying growth strategies and developing the finance function globally. Prior to this, they were a member of the professional development community at GrowCFO. Tim has also worked as the Finance Transformation Director at Johnson Matthey and as the Finance Director at BMI Group (Roofing & Waterproofing). Tim has held senior positions such as Global Finance Director at PACCOR, Senior Financial Controller at Eaton and Philips Consumer Lifestyle, and Senior Financial Controller at CooperVision. Tim's earlier experience includes roles as a Management Accountant at Westwind Air Bearings and as a Finance Trainee at Oxford Instruments.

Tim Day earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Business Law LLB (Hons) degree from Bournemouth University between 1992 and 1996. In 2000, they also became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Tim Day attended The Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe from 1986 to 1992 but did not receive a degree during this period.
