Britt Anuszkiewicz, MA, MSW, currently serves as a consultant for the Maryland Governor's Office for Children and holds a position in strategic public financing with the Children's Opportunity Alliance. With extensive experience in nonprofit management and child welfare, Britt has also contributed as a board member for the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy and previously held leadership roles at Thread, Inc., Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ, BETHANNA, Stoneleigh Foundation, and the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Britt's educational background includes a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Master of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University.

Gunpowder Valley Conservancy
The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) is a Baltimore County-based land trust and watershed restoration nonprofit organization. Since 1989, GVC has preserved 2,000+ acres, planted 36,000+ trees, and removed 270+ tons of trash. We offer a variety of educational workshops and hands-on volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Our mission is to engage, connect, and inspire people to preserve and restore the Gunpowder Watershed. Our vision is a Gunpowder Watershed that consists of healthy lands, healthy waterways, and healthy communities.
