Carl Altoe

Carl Altoe has extensive experience in meteorology and natural gas trading, currently serving as a Natural Gas Trader and Meteorologist at Gunvor Group Ltd since July 2018. Previously, Carl worked at BTG Pactual for five years, where support was provided for US power and natural gas desks through weather forecasts and trading activities. Prior to that, a role as a Natural Gas Analyst and Meteorologist was held at Noble Americas, and Chief Meteorologist and Natural Gas Strategist at RBS Sempra Commodities, leading weather forecasting efforts for commodities traders. Additional experience includes forecasting for Sempra Energy Trading, general forecasting at NOAA-National Weather Service, and an early role as a Meteorologist Intern at AccuWeather. Carl holds a degree in Meteorology from Penn State University.
