Maksim Samburov

Maksim Samburov has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Maksim started their career at Swedbank as a Derivatives Sales Specialist from April 2011 to December 2013. Later, they joined Gunvor Group Ltd and served in various roles, including Swaps Admin/Derivatives Specialist from December 2013 to June 2016, Head of Swaps from June 2016 to October 2017, and Head of Swaps & Back Office from October 2017 to April 2021. Currently, they are the Regional Head of Trade Support - EMEA at Gunvor Group Ltd, a position they have held since April 2021.

Maksim Samburov began their education in 2008 at TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Maksim completed this degree in 2012. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2014, they continued their studies at the same institution, TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology, and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Finance.
