Philip Larcher has a diverse range of work experience. Philip started their career in 2001 as an intern at the International Peace Bureau (IPB) Geneva, where they worked as an analyst and research programs manager. In 2002, they moved on to the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), where they served as a project manager responsible for the initiative on "Arms Exports."

In 2003, Philip joined the French Ministry of Defence as an international project manager and coordination officer. Philip stayed there until 2005.

From 2006 to 2009, they worked at Termcotank S.A. as a regional manager, specifically overseeing commercial operations for bitumen and lubricants in Eastern and Northern Africa, the Far East, and the Pacific Islands. Philip was responsible for strategic development, supplier and client relations, and logistics management.

Philip then joined RWE Supply & Trading S.A. in 2010 as a senior back-office officer and clearing specialist. Philip'sresponsibilities included clearing activities such as confirmation and settlement of transactions, collateral and PnL/margin calculations, market risk analysis, and liaising with clearing houses and exchanges. Philip left the company in 2012.

Lastly, Philip worked at Gunvor from 2012 onwards as the Global Head of Risk-Clearing. Philip'srole involved various risk management activities, including IM and VM movement checks, IM simulations, margin forecasts, and assessment of IM impacts.

Philip LARCHER completed their education history with the following qualifications. In 1997 to 2002, they obtained a Trilingual Masters Degree in International Law & Economics from Université Pierre Mendès-France (Grenoble II). From 2002 to 2003, they pursued a Masters Degree (MA) in Defence and Security Analysis at Lancaster University. Later, in 2005 to 2006, they enrolled in IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management, where they achieved an MBA in "change and technology" with a focus on Leading Change, which is accredited by AMBA and EQUIS. Additionally, in November 2013, they earned a certification in Energy Risk Management from The Oxford Princeton Programme.
