Kaan Buran

Kaan Buran has a solid work experience in the field of game development and programming. Kaan started their career as a Software Developer at VeriPark, where they worked on the implementation of the company framework. Kaan then moved on to Turkcell Global Bilgi, where they worked as a Full Stack Software Developer on the YAP Project.

In 2015, Kaan worked as a Game Programmer on a self-development project named "Seven". Kaan also worked as an Unreal Engine Gameplay Programmer at 2pi Dijital Teknolojiler A.Ş., where they focused on creating gamification programs for product advertisement, training, and architectural visualization.

Kaan then became a Unreal Game Development Consultant at CBILABVR Studios, before joining IKA – Laboratory, Analytical and Processing Technology as a Gameplay/Generalist Programmer. At IKA, they had a wide range of responsibilities including creating tools, implementing multiplayer and networking systems, optimizing performance, and consulting and educating colleagues.

In 2017, Kaan joined Phantom 8 Studio as a Gameplay Programmer, where they worked on the games "Past Cure" and "Marble Combat". Kaan then moved to me.mento 3D Interactive GmbH as a Senior Gameplay Programmer, working on various projects including a multiplayer VR project for the entertainment industry and the VR game "VRXCity".

Most recently, Kaan joined icon incar as a Senior Developer (Unreal), focusing on Unreal Engine development.

In 2023, they will be starting a new role as a Senior Gameplay Programmer at Gunzilla Games.

Kaan Buran obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University from 2009 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Eskişehir Fatih Fen Lisesi from 2005 to 2009 for their high school education. In terms of additional certifications, Kaan Buran has a certification in Software Quality & Testing from Turkcell, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
