Yuri Nereta has a solid background in the gaming industry, with experience in various roles as a Senior Hard Surface Artist and a Senior 3D Artist. Starting in 2016 at Ulysses Graphics, Yuri worked as an Environment Artist, specializing in creating environments for the Call of Duty franchise. Their responsibilities included all stages of game environment creation, such as blockout, highpoly and lowpoly modeling, UV mapping, texture baking, and PBR texturing. In 2018, Yuri joined Room 8 Studio as a Senior 3D Artist, where they continued to enhance their skills until 2019. They also worked as a Senior 3D Artist at an unknown company starting in 2019 and recently joined Gunzilla Games as a Senior Hard Surface Artist in 2022.
Yuri Nereta received their Bachelor's Degree in the Faculty of Architecture from PoltNTU im.Yu.Kondratyuka in Poltava, Ukraine, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2010, they attended Art School "Studіya Mistetstvo" in Romny, Ukraine. Additionally, they briefly attended Taras Shevchenko State Art School in Kiev, Ukraine, from 2003 to 2004. No degrees or fields of study were specified for the latter two institutions.
