Rômulo Martins

Rômulo Martins has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rômulo is currently the Director of Product at Gupy Corporate Education, a position they started in August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the General Director at Gupy Corporate Education from July 2022 to July 2023. Rômulo also has experience as the Co-CEO and Co-founder of Niduu, a startup that was acquired by Gupy in October 2021. Rômulo was part of this role from April 2017 to August 2022. Additionally, Rômulo co-founded Infortask, a startup focused on small business task management, where they worked from January 2014 to January 2017. Earlier in their career, they held positions at UFMA - Universidade Federal do Maranhão as a Professor, Associate Director, Learning Technology Manager, and Digital Learning Manager. Rômulo also worked as a Researcher (R&D) at Duke Energy Corporation, a Business Analyst at Intechne, and held various roles at FAPEMA, including CTO and Java/PHP Developer.

Rômulo Martins earned a Doctorate degree in Information Technology in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, completing their studies from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Computer Science from UFMA - Universidade Federal do Maranhão, studying from 2006 to 2008. In addition, Rômulo obtained a Specialist certification in Systems Engineering in 2009 from ESAB - Escola Superior Aberta do Brasil. Beyond their formal education, they have also acquired several additional certifications in various areas, such as Product Leadership, BSC: aplicado na gestão de portfólios, Comunicação assertiva: reduzindo conflitos e frustrações, and Comunicação: como se expressar bem e ser compreendido, from different institutions.
