Vitor Schmid

Vitor Schmid has a strong and diverse work experience. Vitor is currently working at Gupy as a Commercial Director, starting in 2023. Before that, they were the Chief Executive Officer at Schmid & Co, a venture builder in the Education & Technology sectors. At Maple Bear Latin America, they served as the Managing Director and CEO, overseeing successful business expansion across Latin America. At GoStudent, they held the position of Global Head of School Partnerships, leading a turnaround and rapid scale-up of the School Partnerships business unit. Prior to that, they worked at Pearson as the Global Director, Global Marketing & Corporate Affairs ROI and as the Director, Head of Marketing Intelligence & Media Performance. Vitor also served as the Chief Financial Officer at iugu and worked at Accenture in the Finance & Enterprise Performance division. Vitor's work experience began as the Founder and CEO of PetPista, Brazil's leading pet tech company.

Vitor Schmid has a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Data Science & Analytics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo. Vitor also holds a Master's degree in Complex Systems Modeling from the same university and a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Vitor has a technician diploma in Precision Mechanics from SENAI School "Swiss-Brazilian".

In addition to their formal education, Vitor has also obtained certifications such as "Bootcamp Desenvolvedor Python" from IGTI and "Six Sigma - Green Belt" from Nortegubisian Consultoria e Treinamento. Vitor has also studied Linear Algebra at USP and Bank Accounting at FACULDADE FIPECAFI - Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Contábeis, Atuariais e Financeiras.
