Dan Jeffrey

Dan Jeffrey has a long history of work experience in the software development industry. Dan began their career in 1992 as a Consultant for Application Development at PC Managers. In 1994, they took on the role of Application Development Manager at Ophthalmic Imaging Systems, where they managed a software development team and created a custom image database and control software interfaced with digital cameras from multiple vendors. In 1997, they moved on to Compass Modeling Solutions as an Application Visualization Developer. In 1998, they joined ILOG as a Senior Technical Account Manager, where they managed the technical relationship with customers and wrote proof of concept applications. Dan then moved to IBM in 2009 as a Technical Sales Manager. In 2016, they joined Rogue Wave Software as a Senior Sales Engineer, and in 2018 they began working at Gurobi Optimization as a Senior Technical Account Manager.

Dan Jeffrey obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis. Dan also has a number of certifications, including "Reproducible Research" from Coursera in June 2017, "Exploratory Data Analysis" from Coursera in May 2017, "Data Science - Getting and Cleaning Data" from Coursera in April 2017, "R Programming" from Johns Hopkins University on Coursera in March 2017, "Hadoop Platform and Application Framework" from Coursera in September 2016, "Machine Learning" from Coursera Verified Certificates in November 2015, and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox".
