Kai Song

At the age of 18, Kai Song rallied 200 youths and built her first education non-profit with to help underprivileged communities access tertiary education. She went on to pursue a Master in Information Engineering with a Machine Learning focus at the Cambridge University which equipped her with the technical foundation to transform the traditional “one-size-fits-all” approach to education, leveraging on data.

Kai Song also has experience working in top-tier management consulting firm McKinsey & Company in London where she served clients on growth strategies in the UK, US, Middle East and Europe. She was also the Chief of Staff to the CEO of an Advanced Analytics startup in London. Kai Song returned home after spending many years in the UK when she saw an opportunity to contribute to the Malaysian education system by leveraging the power of data science. She is a strong believer that English is a key to upward social mobility and with a personalised approach, she aspires to create a world where no student is left behind.
