Jessie Atkins

Jessie Atkins has a diverse background in the field of international education and leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Expansion Initiatives at GUS Canada through a secondment opportunity, Jessie previously held positions such as Associate Director of Compliance & Risk Management at Street Arts International and Executive Director & Founder at ApplyBoard. With a Master's degree in Global Leadership from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Queen's University, Jessie also holds a Certificate in International Education. Throughout the years, Jessie has gained experience in various roles such as Account Manager at guard.me International Insurance, International Agent Relations Coordinator at Royal Roads University, and Student Abroad Advisor at Wilfrid Laurier University. Additionally, Jessie has served on the Board of Directors at Solidarity in Action Inc. and has facilitated the International Educators Training Program course at Queen's University. With a commitment to professional development, Jessie also holds a Mental Health First Aid Certificate with a Youth Specialization from the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
