Gustav Garzon

Gustav Garzon is currently the VP of Product at Gutenberg Technology. Prior to this, they served as the Director at Gutenberg Technology from January 2017 to December 2018. Gustav was responsible for revolutionizing digital content transformation and the digital learning experience for clients such as the French Ministry of Education, Cambridge University Press, Cengage Learning, VitalSource, Hachette Book Group, and Les Echos Publishing.

From January 2013 to December 2016, Gustav Garzon worked at Cengage Learning as the software development and software engineering team manager. Their teams were responsible for building quality software products that delighted customers. Gustav partnered with product owners to ideate, plan, and build software within a matrixed organization, including QA, BA, Tech Leads, UX/UI, Content and Software Engineers and Architects. Some of their notable projects include being the Technical Lead for IXL(iLrn) - Blackboard Partner Cloud Integration for World Language digital products, MindTap English Mobile Handbook for iOS and Android (nominated for 2016 SIIA CODE Award), Speech Outline Tool (SOT), Questia MIindApp LTI integration , Complex YouSeeU MIndApp software build and integration with MIndTap, WAC - Writing Across the Curriculum Mind Component, and MindTap Reader for Art.

Gustav Garzon has a MA in Higher Education from Boston College and a BA in Spanish and Education from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. Gustav also attended Boston Latin School, a college preparatory high school.
