Jennifer Baumgartner is an accomplished fundraising and community engagement professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. As the Campaign Director at Guthrie Theater since April 2021, Jennifer has successfully raised over $50 million towards an $80 million goal to support the theater's artistic and operational needs. Previously, Jennifer served as Executive Director for the American Cancer Society overseeing operations in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, and held senior leadership roles at the National MS Society, where Jennifer contributed to generating $8.5 million annually. Jennifer's career also includes a tenure as Development Director at Touchstone Mental Health, where Jennifer led a $13.5 million capital campaign, and as Director of Development & National Conference at the National Speaking of Women's Health Foundation, managing a large team to implement a major annual conference. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Communications from Xavier University.

Guthrie Theater

The Guthrie Theater was founded by Sir Tyrone Guthrie in 1963 and is dedicated to producing the great works of dramatic literature, developing the work of contemporary playwrights and cultivating the next generation of theater artists. Under the artistic leadership of Joseph Haj, the Guthrie produces a mix of classic and contemporary plays on three stages, and continues to set a national standard for excellence in theatrical production and performance.
