Lauren Mitchell

Lauren Mitchell is a Research Assistant II at the Guttmacher Institute, where involvement includes the Monthly Abortion Provision Study and the Reproductive Health Impact Study since July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Bass Connections Fellow and Student Research Awardee at Duke University, focusing on data science applications in reproductive health and leading an independent study analyzing contraceptive access among women with disabilities in North Carolina. Lauren also held research assistant roles at the Duke University School of Medicine, the Center for Global Reproductive Health, and contributed to projects at FHI 360 on family planning practices. Educational background includes a degree from Duke University, completed in December 2022.
