Director Of Administrative Operations, Communications & Publications at Guttmacher Institute

Rebecca Wind has extensive work experience in the field of communications and administrative operations. Rebecca has worked at the Guttmacher Institute since 2001, starting as a Senior Communications Associate and later progressing to roles such as Senior Communications Associate and Divisional Budget Manager, Associate Director of Communications, and currently as the Director of Administrative Operations for the Communications & Publications Division. In their current role, they are responsible for the administrative functioning of the division, including budgeting, staff development, grant reporting, and collaboration with partner organizations.

In addition to their work at the Guttmacher Institute, Rebecca Wind has also served as the Board President for the 741 West End Avenue Board of Directors since 2012. Rebecca was also the Board Treasurer for the New York Abortion Access Fund from 2010 to 2017. Prior to their time at the Guttmacher Institute, they worked as an Account Executive at Hill & Knowlton from 1999 to 2001.

Rebecca Wind completed their Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs at the University of Delaware from 1991 to 1994. Rebecca then pursued a joint MSW/MPA degree in Social Work and Public Administration at Columbia | SIPA from 1996 to 1999.
