Gonzalo Iglesias Rossini is an accomplished Environmental Law Professor at Universidad de Montevideo since July 2021 and a Senior Associate specializing in Corporate, Environmental Law, and Sustainability at Guyer & Regules since September 2020. Gonzalo also teaches at Universidad de la República in the Environmental Law Centre for graduate and post-graduate courses since March 2013. Previous experience includes roles as a Legal Intern at UN Environment Programme and Center for International Environmental Law, as well as serving as a Legal Advisor at DINAMA from 2015 to 2019. Gonzalo's legal practice history includes positions as a Notary Public and Associate Lawyer. Academically, Gonzalo holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and a Master's degree in Territorial Planning and Urban Development from Universidad de la República, along with an Environmental and Energy Law LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center. Additional qualifications include a specialization in Environmental Law from the University of Buenos Aires and various certifications in environmental management.
