David Schenkein

David Schenkein, MD, currently serves as a General Partner at GV since February 2019 and holds a Board Member position at Regeneron effective September 2023. Schenkein is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Tufts Medical Center and has been a Board Member and Chairperson of the Board at Agios Pharmaceuticals since August 2009. Additionally, Schenkein serves as a Board Member at Denali Therapeutics and has previous experience as Senior Vice President of Clinical Hematology/Oncology at Genentech and Senior Vice President of Clinical Research at Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Schenkein earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Wesleyan University and a Doctor of Medicine from Upstate Medical University.
