Xihao Hu

Xihao Hu has a diverse range of work experience in the field of computational biology and bioinformatics. Xihao is currently the Chief Information Officer at GV20 Therapeutics since March 2021, where they also previously served as the Chief Scientist starting in April 2019. Prior to this, Xihao was a Research Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from October 2016 to April 2019. Xihao also worked as a Research Associate at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Science from September 2015 to September 2016. Xihao has gained additional research experience as a Visiting Student at Tsinghua University, Cornell University, and Fudan University. Lastly, they started their career as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Wuhan University.

Xihao Hu obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Wuhan University from 2005 to 2009.
