Kristian Mai Hernandez

Kristian Mai Hernandez has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Kristian currently works as a Supplier Quality Engineer at G&W Electric Co. since October 2021.

Prior to their current role, they worked at HydraForce Inc. for several years. At HydraForce, they held multiple positions including Supplier Quality Engineer from February 2019 to October 2022, Quality Engineer from May 2018 to January 2019, and Quality Engineering Intern from May 2017 to May 2018.

Before joining HydraForce, Kristian worked as a Summer Intern at PureCircle in 2014.

Kristian'searliest work experience dates back to 2008 when they worked at Belize Co-Generation Energy Limited as a Preventive Monitoring Technician. In this role, they conducted horizontal machine alignment, performed thermographic inspections, and managed maintenance and repair of belt conveyors. Kristian'stenure at Belize Co-Generation Energy Limited lasted from November 2008 to July 2013. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in quality engineering, supplier quality, and maintenance operations throughout their career.

Kristian Mai Hernandez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, between 2006 and 2008, Kristian attended St. John's College Junior College where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree with a focus on Chemistry and Biology.

In terms of additional certifications, Kristian obtained the ASQ Certified Supplier Quality Professional certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in January 2023. Additionally, in March 2017, they obtained the Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.
