Raquel Ramirez

Raquel Ramirez is a Medical Laboratory Technician currently employed at Gwinnett Clinic since May 2022, where responsibilities include conducting a full range of chemistry and hematologic assays on patient serum and blood samples in a CLIA certified lab. Prior experience includes working as a Molecular Genetic Technician at LifeHope Labs from August 2020 to March 2022, where molecular assays were performed to identify pathogens and antibiotic resistances in human specimens. Additionally, Raquel served as a KATZ Laboratory Research Associate at Emory University in early 2020, utilizing molecular biology techniques to investigate histone methylation effects on cell fate and gene expression in C. elegans. Raquel is pursuing a degree in Medical Laboratory Science at Emory University, expecting to graduate in August 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Oglethorpe University, obtained in 2021.
