Matthew Davis is an experienced librarian and archivist with a strong background in collection development, digitization, and curatorial work. Currently serving as the Collection Development Librarian at Gwinnett County Public Library and as a member of the Curation Corps at the Digital Public Library of America, Matthew has previously held significant roles including Digitization and Collections Manager at the San Francisco Public Library, where responsibilities included managing digital initiatives and supervising staff. Matthew's extensive experience also encompasses various archival positions, with a focus on processing and cataloging records, as well as conducting research and assisting patrons. Academic qualifications include a Master of Library and Information Science with a specialization in Archival Studies from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production/Theatre Arts from Pacific University.
