Christine Lins

Christine Lins has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Global Women's Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET) since June 2018, and as the Founder of Christine Lins Consulting. As a founding member of GWNET, Christine focuses on empowering women in sustainable energy worldwide. Previously, Christine was the Executive Secretary at the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21) from 2011 to March 2018, contributing to the global dialogue on renewable energy. Christine also served as Secretary General of the European Renewable Energy Council (EREC) from April 2001 to June 2011, representing the European renewable sector. Christine's career began as a Project Manager at OÖ Energiesparverband from 1996 to 2001. Educational background includes a Master's degree in International Economics from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and mediation certifications from the Institut für Angewandte Psychologie.
