Sharon J. Lynch is a Research Professor at the George Washington Institute for Public Policy (GWIPP) since July 2017 and has been a Professor and Researcher at George Washington University since 1990. Additionally, Sharon serves as a GW Affiliate and has held the position of Principal Investigator for OSPrI—Opportunity Structures for Preparation and Inspiration since 2011, focusing on a NSF-funded study of inclusive STEM high schools across the United States. Previously, Sharon was Co-Principal Investigator at SRI International iSTEM from 2011 to 2016 and served as Program Director at The National Science Foundation in the Education and Human Resources Directorate from 2008 to 2010. Sharon holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education from Wayne State University, along with an MS in Biology and a BS in Education with a concentration in Biology and Secondary Science Education.
